A Lifelong Partnership
When you bring home one of our puppies, we don’t say goodbye – we say hello to a lifelong friendship! We’re committed to supporting you and your furry friend every step of the way.
Health Factors to Consider
Just like humans, puppies’ health is influenced by various factors, including:
  • Genetics
  • Exercise
  • Diet
  • Overall care
Our Promise to You
In the unlikely event that your puppy faces a genetic health issue within the first two years, we’ll replace them with a new puppy of equal value at no additional cost. We just ask that you work with a licensed veterinarian to confirm the diagnosis.

WHAT WE REQUIRE OF YOU:

We’re thrilled to have found a forever home for our beloved basset hound puppy! To ensure your new furry friend stays happy and healthy, we need your help. Here’s how you can partner with us:
First Steps
  1. Veterinary Checkup: Within four business days of receiving your puppy, please send us a copy of their medical record from a licensed veterinarian.
  2. Vaccination Schedule: Avoid giving your puppy shots during the first ten days of arrival. We’ve already taken care of their current vaccinations, but please continue with the recommended deworming and routine checkups until they’re 16 weeks old (or as advised by your vet).
Ongoing Care
We’ve dewormed and vaccinated your puppy up until departure, but we need your help to keep them healthy. Please:
  • Continue deworming and routine checkups as recommended
  • Schedule regular veterinary visits to monitor their health
Let’s Work Together
By following these simple steps, you’ll be helping us ensure your puppy grows into a happy, healthy adult basset hound. If you have any questions or concerns, we’re always here to help.

Post-Adoption Veterinary Visit
We require a licensed veterinarian to inspect your puppy within four days of receipt to ensure their continued health and well-being.

VACCINATION PROTOCOL:

We ensure our basset puppies are up-to-date on their vaccinations. Here’s a breakdown of the typical vaccination schedule:
  • First 5-way shot (parainfluenza, hepatitis, adenovirus, parvo, and distemper)
  • 9-10 weeks: Distemper + Parvovirus, MLV (e.g., Intervet Progard Puppy DPV)
  • 14 weeks: Same as above
  • 16-18 weeks: Same as above (optional)
  • 20 weeks or older (if allowable by law): Rabies
  • 1 year: Distemper + Parvovirus, MLV, Rabies
  • 3-year product: Give 3-4 weeks apart from distemper/parvovirus booster
Important Note
We advise against providing more than a “5-way shot” and recommend consulting with your veterinarian for personalized advice.

NB: Please confirm with your family and obtain necessary approvals before sending an order. We want to ensure everyone is on the same page before bringing a new furry friend home!.
