Our commitment to our puppies doesn’t end when they leave our kennel. If, for any reason, you’re unable to keep your dog, we ask that you return them to us. We care deeply about their welfare and want to ensure they receive the love and care they deserve.

- A Family Tradition: We ask that all puppies intended for breeding, showing, obedience, or agility have their registered name start with our kennel name, continuing our legacy.
Our adorable basset hound puppies are ready to join their forever families at 8 weeks of age! This is the perfect time for them to transition from our loving care to yours.
A Special Exception
Some puppies will catch our eye as potential show-stoppers or future breed ambassadors. These special pups will stay with us a bit longer for further evaluation and training. If they don’t make the cut, they’ll become available for adoption later on. Keep an eye on our updates if you’re interested in giving one of these talented pups a loving home!

At Tailwag, we prioritize our puppies’ health and well-being. Before they go to their forever homes, our puppies receive a series of vaccinations and deworming treatments to ensure they get off to a healthy start.
Vaccination Schedule
Here’s a breakdown of the vaccinations and deworming treatments our puppies receive at different ages:
- 5 weeks:
- Nobivac DPv (vaccine)
- Strongid-T (deworming)
- 7 weeks:
- Nobivac Canine 1-DAPPv (vaccine)
- Panacure (deworming)
- 9 weeks:
- Nobivac Canine 1-DAPPv (vaccine)
- Strongid-T (deworming)
- 12 weeks:
- Nobivac Canine 1-DAPPv (vaccine)
- Panacure (deworming)
What does DAPPv protect against?
DAPPv is a core vaccine that protects against five serious diseases:
- Distemper
- Adenovirus
- Parainfluenza
- Parvovirus
- Hepatitis
We also provide a comprehensive health record and recommended schedule for future vaccinations, deworming, neutering, and spaying to ensure our puppies receive the best possible care.
